WHO WE ARE

Robert Alan SmithRobert A. Smith is a Garland-based commercial real estate developer and property manager specializing in downtown redevelopment and revitalization. His goal is to create an “authentic sense of place one building at a time”.

He received his Masters Degree from SMU in Liberal Arts and his Bachelor’s of Business Administration Degree in Real Estate and Insurance from Baylor University. He is a member of the Congress of New Urbanism, currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Garland Chamber of Commerce, President of the Garland Downtown Business Association, and a member of the Board of Directors for the Texas Downtown Association. Robert is also a Life Member of the Dallas Planning Council.

WHAT WE DO

Robert A. Smith provides commercial real estate services including Construction, Development, and Property Management Services. The primary focus of our real estate firm is small business retail, namely in the Downtown markets, but also within neighborhood shopping centers as well.

Our market knowledge over the past 30-years allows us to anticipate challenges and pursue opportunities that others cannot see while working to understand our clients’ real estate needs, which provides a professional approach to success.  We understand the importance of small business and the impact it has on growing the local economy.
